Rams Celebrate Senior Day at URI Coaches Invitational

KINGSTON, R.I. — Rhode Island men's track and field celebrated senior day with multiple top finishes across events Saturday.

Highlights from Competition

Alex Arbogast was second in the 60m with a time of 6.91 seconds, while Izzy Henriques-Setho was third (6.99s)
In the 1000m, Maddox Jordan won in 2:25.32, while Antonio Capalbo finished second in 2:26.12.
Matt Lucas placed third in the mile with a time of 4:16.32.
Owen Vieira was second in the 60m hurdles (8.49s).
Matt Santy won the high jump, marking 2.09 meters while Josia Katroli was second (2.04m).
Nathan Park won the pole vault after clearing 4.86 meters, and Carson Dean finished second with a 4.86 meter mark.
Santy also won the long jump with a 7.49 meter leap. Joachim Ennoo was second (7.41m) and Nate Shultz was third (7.14m).
Ennoo won the triple jump (15.79m) while Arnaud Sioho was second (15.29m)
Theo Puterbaugh placed first in the shot put after throwing 16.71 meters. Winslow Sightler was second (16.32m).
In the weight throw, Sam Meleshenko placed second with a 16.61 meter finish.
