BOSTON, MASS. -- Rhode Island men's track and field competed at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational Friday, hosted by Boston University. The Rams were led by Nick Martin, who broke another school record, this week in the mile. Martin became the first Ram to ever run a sub-four minute pace in the event.

Highlights from Competition

• Nick Martin set a new program record in the mile with at time of 3:59.070 for 13th place.
• Antonio Capalbo finished 10th in the 1000m run, crossing the finish line in 2:25.67. Jaden Enis also competed for the Rams, finishing 22nd with a time of 2:27.07.
