KINGSTON, R.I. -- Rhode Island women's lacrosse had 14 named to the IWLCA 2026 Division I Academic Honor Roll, it was announced Thursday. In the second year of NCAA Division I competition, Makayla Au, Caralie Basuel, Marie Cacciabaudo, Caitlin Dellecave, Calli Dunn, Izze Gill, Marissa Hermans, Emma Hughes, Kyndall Jackson, Carolyn Kirk, Zoe Lockwood, Sydney MacDonald, Brinley Myers, and Casey Phelps were recognized for their hard work both on the field and in the classroom. The IWLCA honored 1,209 student-athletes from 122 different institutions on the 2025-26 IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
The Rams were also recognized by the IWLCA as an Academic Honor Squad. To qualify for this honor, the women's lacrosse team must have posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year. Rhody boasted a 3.55 team GPA in 2025-26.
