RHODE ISLAND VS. STONEHILL - SERIES NOTES

• Thursday marks the season opener for both teams.
• Rhode Island is 5-0 all time against Stonehill.
• In the five previous matches, URI has outscored the Skyhawks 14-1.
• This will be the third time Rhode Island is visiting Stonehill. The Rams won 1-0 in 2024 and 4-0 in 1986.
• The last time the teams met, Rhode Island tied a program record by recording its sixth consecutive shutout.
• For Rhode Island, the only members of this year's squad that played in the last meeting against Stonehill are Brett Schwab, Nate Yurkovic and Theo Harris.
• Schwab played all 90 minutes on defense. Harris started and played 63 minutes at forward. Yurkovic appeared as a reserve and registered two shots on goal in 26 minutes.
• The lone goal Stonehill scored in the series was in the first meeting, a 3-1 URI win in 1984.
