PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Quincy Wadley scored 22 points and Lynn Greer added 18 to give Temple a 77-47 victory over Rhode Island Sunday.

Alex Wesby and Kevin Lyde each had 12 points for the Owls (13-10, 7-2 Atlantic 10), who posted a 43-28 edge in rebounds.

Dinno Daniels had 15 points and Tavorris Bell had 13 points for the Rams (5-17, 1-8), who have dropped nine of their last 10 games.

Zach Marbury was held to only 3 points for Rhode Island, whose five wins have all been at home.

Temple jumped out to a 16-6 lead and never looked back.

A driving layup by Greer pushed the advantage to 29-13, and a jumper by David Hawkins gave Temple its biggest lead of the first half 40-20.

The Owls led 44-25 at the break, hitting on 17 of 31 shots. The lead reached 68-44 with 4:12 remaining as Rhode Island could only score 3 points over the last 12 minutes of the game.

The game was the 51st in the series with Temple now holding a 40-11 edge.
