KINGSTON, R.I. - The Rhode Island men's soccer team lost in overtime,1-0, to Old Dominion in the second round of the Rhode Island Soccer Classic, Sunday, at the URI Soccer Complex. ODU was named tournament champion after finishing 2-0 on the weekend, after also defeating Harvard, 4-3, on Friday night.

Junior defender Callum Bissett and sophomore defender Adam Howarth were named All-Tournament selection for the Rams, which finished in a scoreless tie with Villanova, 0-0, in Friday's first-round.

After playing the first 90 minutes virtually even, Old Dominion netted the game-winner 5:39 into the first overtime. Junior midfielder Gregg Mottinger collected a loose ball and slid a quick pass over to freshman Dylan Montambo who blasted a shot from 25-yards out into the top left corner over diving URI keeper Mark Sauter.

In the day's first match, Harvard bounced back from an early deficit by scoring three unanswered goals (including two in the second half) for a 3-1 victory over Villanova.

Rhode Island (1-1-1) returns to action this weekend with matches against Loyola Marymount (Friday, 1:30 p.m.) and Northeastern (Sunday, 11:00 a.m.) at the Harvard Invitational in Cambridge, Mass.
