DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- The Rams will play its second game in as many days - and third overall - in the Glenn Wilkes Classic, when they take on Stetson at 8:15 p.m. tonight at the Ocean Center.

Rhode Island, paced by 17 points apiece from Jimmy Baron and Will Daniels, earned a 74-67 victory over USF on Friday afternoon. Baron helped key a 10-4 run midway through the second half, scoring eight points - including two threes - during the stretch. Daniels - plagued with foul trouble for much of the game - scored eight of URI's final 13 points to seal the victory.

Kahiem Seawright also played a major role, battling USF's Kentrell Gransberry - the nation's top returning rebounder. Seawright pulled down 14 rebounds, to go along with eight points versus the Bulls.

"In the first half, we gave up a lot on the boards," Seawright said. "We're a running team. If we don't rebound, we can't run."

Stetson is 1-2 coming into today's contest. Last night, the Hatters dropped a 68-62 decision to Florida Atlantic. URI downed FAU, 90-63 on Nov. 9 in Kingston. With that in mind, it might be easy to overlook this game. But Seawright made it perfectly clear in dispelling that notion.

"We haven't done anything yet," he explained. "We need to take care of business today. This trip was for three games and they all go together. If we look past Stetson, it negates yesterday (win over USF) and tomorrow (vs. UAB). They're a good team, it's their home court and we need to be focused."

The game can be heard live on radio, on WHJJ 920 AM and The Bridge 99.3 FM, with Steve McDonald and Don Kaull calling all the action. Additionally, the game can be heard live on the internet, via Yahoo! Sports. Log onto GoRhody.com and follow the audio/video links.
