HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. - Rhode Island senior Ben Spitz (77-71-78-226) and classmate Jason Pannone (75-75-76-226) each tied for 40th place at 10-over par to lead the Rams at the Mission Inn Collegiate Invitational, hosted by Xavier at the El Campeon Course, located north of Orlando, Fla.

The Rams finished 16th with a score of 919, as Louisville (860), UNC-Greensboro (874), Wichita State (882) Marquette (882), the host Musketeers (885) and Old Dominion (885) rounded out the top-five of the 16-team field.

Sophomore Mark Stevens tied for 57th place (77-80-74-231) at 15-over par, while senior Jesse Larson finished 79th (85-76-78-239) and senior Devon Quigley tied for 86th (84-78-78-240).

Rhody returns to action Friday-Sunday, March 23-25 at the Furman Invitational.
