RHODE ISLAND VS. HOFSTRA
- Friday marks the fifth time that Rhode Island and Hofstra have met on the hardwood.
- Rhody holds a 3-1 advantage in the all-time series.
- The last meeting came on Dec. 22, 2007, with the Rams earning a 88-69 victory at the Ryan Center.
RHODE ISLAND VS. BOSTON UNIVERSITY
- Saturday marks the 36th time that Rhode Island and BU have faced off in a game.
- Rhody holds a 24-11 advantage in the all-time series.
- The Terriers are the Rams' 18th most-common opponent.
- URI won the previous meeting between the two schools, 48-38, on Nov. 29, 2005 in Boston.
RHODE ISLAND VS. CLEVELAND STATE
- Sunday marks the third time that Rhode Island and Cleveland State played each other.
- The all-time series is tied at 1-1.
- The last meeting came on Nov. 27, 1999, with the Rams earning a 73-69 victory in Hilo, Hawai'i as part of the Big Island Invitational.
RHODE ISLAND AT THE THOMAS M. RYAN CENTER - ONE WIN AWAY FROM 100
- URI holds a 99-42 (.702) regular season record in the Ryan Center since the arena opened for play on Nov. 26, 2002 with a 73-71 victory over USC.
- The Rams have won 11 or more home games in each of the last five seasons - including a program-record 15 during the 2009-10 season.
- Rhode Island has captured its last 31 non-conference games at the Thomas M. Ryan Center.
RHODE ISLAND IN HOME OPENERS
- From Lippitt Hall, Rodman Hall, Keaney Gymnasium, sometimes the Providence Civic Center, and now to the Thomas M. Ryan Center, URI teams have posted an 92-12 (.883) record its first home game of the season.
- Last year, Rhody picked up a 92-67 win over Brown in last year's home opener on Nov. 16, 2010.
RHODE ISLAND IN IN-SEASON TOURNAMENTS
- Dating back to the 1949-50 season, Rhode Island is 60-62 (.496) all-time in in-season tournaments.
- Earlier this season, URI dropped a 100-90 decision at Texas in the opening round game of the TicketCity Legends Classic.
- Rhody will also play in the UCF Holiday Classic in late December.
