How it Happened:
On Senior Day senior Maggie MacDonald (Hanson, Mass.) netted the winning goal for the Rams (10-7-1, 3-4-0 A-10) in a 2-0 victory over Charlotte (10-5-2, 4-2-1 A-10). This is the second straight game in which MacDonald has scored the game winner. Her goal today came in the 12 minute on a pass from senior Kat Prenda (West Greenwich, R.I.). The goal beat Charlotte keeper Annika McHenry to the upper right.
Rhode Island made the game 2-0 in the 81st minute when freshman Ellie Bailes (Maidstone Kent, England) scored off of a string of passes from freshman Ari Stanton (Cranston, R.I.) and junior Jennifer Barrientos (Reseda, Calif.)
