KINGSTON, R.I. — The Rhode Island women's soccer schedule for the fall was officially released Monday. The 2026 season opens August 12 at home against Maine before beginning a non-conference slate that includes matchups with Providence, Northeastern and Duke.

Head coach Megan Jessee enters her 10th season at the helm, beginning the campaign with two of the first three matches at the URI Soccer Complex. After hosting Maine on Aug. 12, the Rams travel across the state to face Providence on Aug. 16 before returning home to take on Northeastern on Aug. 20.

Rhode Island then heads south for a road matchup at Duke on Aug. 23 before continuing non-conference play at New Hampshire and Central Connecticut State. The Rams close out the opening stretch at Bryant before returning home Sept. 10 to host Brown under the lights in Kingston.

Atlantic 10 play begins Sept. 19 at Duquesne. The conference slate features four home matches in October, welcoming George Washington (Sept. 24), Loyola Chicago (Oct. 4), Saint Bonaventure (Oct. 11), Saint Joseph's (Oct. 17) and Richmond (Oct. 25) to the URI Soccer Complex.

Road conference contests include trips to La Salle, Davidson, George Mason and Saint Louis. Rhode Island closes the regular season Oct. 31 at Saint Louis.

The top eight teams in the league at the end of the regular season will advance to the Atlantic 10 Tournament. Last year, the Rams were 5-3-2 in A-10 action and advanced to the Championship final for the first time in 20 years.
