How it Happened
Rhode Island captured the doubles point with a pair of wins at No. 1 (Chernykh/Sadovnikova) and No. 3 (Asokaraj/Lopez-Fernandez) as well as an 8-7 (4) grind-it-out victory at the second position by Taylor Holden and Kathleen Uy.
The Rams then collected four points in singles as Galina Chernykh (1), Taylor Holden (2) and Kathleen Uy (4) downed their opponents in straight sets and Elizaveta Sadovnikova picked up a default W at No 6.

This competition tested our match toughness. Clearly, we have made great improvement in doubles. This will be needed for our continued success.
