Meet Results

Setting the Scene
The Rhode Island women's track & field team competed in the Terrier Classic earlier today. A number of other teams also competed as well as unattached individuals.

Rhode Island Results

• Courtney Hawkins placed 17th out of 61 total runner in the 3000-meter run (10:11.94).
• In the 800-meter run Juliana Galante and Frances Brillante both finished in the top 30 at 23 and 28 respectively. 89 total runners competed.
• Genevieve Rybicki finished fourth in the weight throw (16.73m).
• Emily Renna also finished fourth in the 60-meter hurdles (8.71).
• In the triple jump, Jennifer Czerapowicz scoring 11.48m, a New England qualifying mark.
• Kimberly Ezeama finished ninth in the triple jump (11.48).
• Lauren Burke ran a Rhode Island best and New England qualifying mark of 57.78 in the 400-meter dash. This scores eighth best of all-time for Rhode Island.

The Rams come back home to the Mackal Fieldhouse on Saturday, Feb. 1 for the URI Coaches Coed Invitational. The meet is set to begin at 11 a.m.
