KINGSTON, R.I. - Rhode Island Women's Track & Field earned three selections across four events to the Atlantic 10's All-Rookie team, the conference announced on Tuesday.
Reagan Garibaldi,
Zarah Singleton, and
Sarah Shipton represented Rhode Island on this year's team.
Per the A-10, the All-Rookie teams honors rookie-eligible student-athletes who hold the fastest time or top distance in the conference for each event. Rookie-eligible student-athletes are individuals who competed in their first year of indoor track and field.
Garibaldi was the top rookie in both the 400m and 500m She was second in the 400m at the Atlantic 10 Indoor Championship with in the program's freshman record time of 3:47.37. Her 1:15.88 in the 500m at Boston University's John Thomas Terrier Classic on Jan. 31 was the league's best rookie time.
Singleton won the 60m hurdles at the Atlantic 10 Championship with a time of 8.39 helping to lift Singleton to the league's Most Outstanding Rookie Award. That is also the best time in the event in program history.
Shipton cleared 11' 6.25" at Rhode Island' tri-meet with Stonehill and New Hampshire on Dec. 5, 2025. That is the highest cleared mark by a freshman in the A-10 this season.
