SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Rhode Island Women's Track and Field had a contingent compete in the inaugural Jaylin Rainford Invitational at Bryant University. The Rams placed seventh amongst 14 teams in the days events.
HighlightsÂ
- Alyssa Yankee had the second-best shot put (42' 5.25") and discus (147' 1") tosses of the day.
- Madison Boucher came in second place in the hammer throw with a toss of 165' 3".Â
- The Rams had three additional top 10 finishes in the discus. Mae Gall came in second (139' 10"), Elizabeth Dankwa placed sixth (125' 2"), and Rachel Federico came in ninth place (114' 1").Â
- Gwen Mccloughan was the lone Ram in action on the track. She placed sixth in 10000m with a time of 37:31.86.
- Norah Kobaly placed ninth in the javelin (115').
