ORLANDO, Fla. - Rhode Island Women's Track and Field began its 2026 outdoor season at the University of Central Florida's Black & Gold Invitational. The event is spaced out of both Friday and Saturday afternoon. The Rams had representation in the javelin throw, long jump, hammer throw, shot put, 400m hurdles and 200m on Friday.
Highlights
- Joyce London impressed in the 400m hurdles after completing the race in 1:01.76 and finishing in seventh place.
- Alyssa Yankee finished in eighth place in the hammer throw with a mark of 173' 11".
- Norah Kobaly placed ninth in the javelin with a toss of 112' 2".
