How it Happened
Rhode Island captured the doubles point thanks to a 6-3 victory by Galina Chernykh and Elizaveta Sadovnikova at #1 coupled with a default victory at the third position. Chernykh went on to post a 6-1, 6-0 win at #1 singles and Jordan Rucks grabbed a default W at the sixth slot, but Albany claimed the 2-5 positions to come away with a 4-3 victory.
