Setting the Scene
The Rams finished in fifth place overall with 85.50 points. George Mason took the Championship with 125.0 points, though Dayton led after day one with 43.0.

Rhode Island Results

• In the high jump Janel Conley placed seventh gaining Rhody 1.50 points (1.60m).
• Genevieve Rybicki and Kelly McCabe got four and three points for URI respectively in the shot put. Rybicki posted a 13.34m throw while McCabe threw for 13.26m.
• Emily Renna grabbed a second place spot in the 60-meter hurdles (8.58).
• In the 60-meter dash Jennifer Christian placed third (7.71) and also finished fifth in the 200-meter dash (25.45).
• Mariah Claudio finished in sixth overall with a time of 56.86.
• In the 500-meter dash Lauren Burke came in seventh, running a 1:16.70.
• Juliana Galante ran in the 800-meter and finished in 2:17.77, good for fifth place.
• In the 1000-meter run Frankie Brillante placed sixth and ran a 2:59.99.
• The 4x800 relay team placed third (9:15.44).

Rhody will move on to the New England Championship next weekend in Boston, Mass. The event will start on Friday, Feb. 28 and conclude on Saturday, March 1. It is set to begin at 12 p.m.
