Women's Tennis

Tennis Falls at Brown, 4-1

How it Happened

Due to Brown having multiple opponents on its schedule today (Bryant at 9 a.m.; Providence at 11:30 a.m.), the Rams and Bears altered the match format and played only at No. 1 doubles and 1-4 singles.

Junior Nithila Asokaraj and freshman Jordan Rucks teamed up to represent Rhody in doubles and were narrowly edged by Brown's Mariska Chamdani and Olivia Hsu, 8-6.

In singles play, junior Kathleen Uy collected URI's lone win on the afternoon, rallying back from a 6-1 first set loss to beat Ammu Mandalap 6-4 in the second set and then and win the tiebreaker, 13-11.
