Setting the Scene
The Rams finished in second place with 99 points. Northeastern took first with 115 total points.

Rhode Island Results

  • Alexa Pelletier ran the second fastest 3000 time in school history at 9:43.15.
  • Jennifer Christian placed seventh in the 60-meter dash (7.80) earning Rhody two points.
  • In the 400-meter dash Mariah Claudio grabbed the four spot with a school record run of 55.29 and earned five points.
  • Lauren Burke finished third in the 500-meter dash (1:14.04). The run was also a Rhode Island record.
  • In the 800-meter run Frankie Brillante placed fifth and gained four points (2:13.14).
  • Emily Renna set another school record with her win in the 60-meter hurdles (8.57).
  • All three record setting runs came within 40 minutes of one another.
  • In the shot put Genevieve Rybicki and Kelly McCabe placed sixth and seventh respectively.

The Rams will go on to the ECAC Championship on next Friday starting at 9 a.m. in Boston, Mass.
