Setting the Scene
The Rhode Island women's track & field team finished the third and final day of the ECAC Championship earlier today in Boston, Mass. Rhode Island finished 26th in the team standings with 11 points. Connecticut won the championship with 75 points.

Rhode Island Results

  • Emily Renna finished fourth in the 60-meter hurdles final with a time of 8.71.
  • Alexa Pelletier posted a personal best and school record time of 9:39.74 in the 3000-meter run. The old record was set in 2005 by Heidi Westerling at 9:41.11.

Up Next

The Rams start their outdoor season on March 29 in the UConn Invitational in Storrs, Conn. The event is set to start at 10 a.m.
