Sophomores Galina Chernykh and Elizaveta Sadovnikova notched an 8-2 win at second doubles but Fordham captured the first and third matches to head into singles play with a 1-0 lead. There, Chernykh went on to defeat Ellie Ball (6-3, 6-1) at No. 1 singles, but Rhody was defeated in straight sets at 2-6.
