KINGSTON, R.I. – Tuesday's softball game at Connecticut has been canceled due to inclement weather conditions. No make-up date is planned at this time.

Rhode Island still has seven games remaining this week. The Rams host Bryant in a single game Wednesday at 4 p.m. before hitting the road for three straight days. Rhody plays doubleheaders at Fairfield (Thursday, April 17 at 2:30 p.m.), George Mason (Friday, April 18 at noon) and La Salle (Saturday, April 19 at noon).

The doubleheaders at George Mason and La Salle are key games in the Atlantic 10 schedule. Rhode Island is tied for fifth place with Saint Joseph's and holds the tiebreaker by virtue of a doubleheader sweep of the Hawks earlier in the season. George Mason is one game behind Rhody and St. Joe's in the standings. La Salle is in second place in the conference.

The top six teams in the A-10 qualify for the conference playoffs.
