Tennis Suffers 6-1 Setback at UMass

How it Happened
In their final dual match of the season, Rhode Island fell to Massachusetts by a score of 6-1. The Rams' lone point of the day came at No. 2 singles, where freshman Talyor Holden held off UMass' Sonia Bokhari in a three-set battle. After dropping the first set 2-6, Holden evened the match with a 6-2 second-set victory before taking the tiebreaker 10-8.

"Taylor played very well today. She battled hard to come back after dropping the first set and played with grit and determination to finish off a really great win." - head coach Val Villucci
