Rhode Island Results

• In the first day of the NCAA East Preliminaries senior Kelly McCabe competed in the javelin throw and scored a mark of 42.46m (139' 4"). With the mark she finished 39th out of 48 competitors in the event.
• The top 12 athletes advance to the final round of the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championship held at the University of Oregon, June 5-8. McCabe was the only student-athlete on the Rhode Island women's track & field team to get to the preliminaries.
