Atlantic 10 Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships

Setting the Scene
The Rams rounded out the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track & Field Championship in fourth place with 93.50 points. Finishing ahead of Rhody was George Mason with 164 points, Duquesne with 137 points and VCU with 110 points.
Rhode Island Results
- Janel Conley tied for third place in the heptathlon with 4608 points, she was in first at the end of day one. Also for Rhode Island, Kelly McCabe placed fifth (4376) and Keiko Hector finished in sixth (4334).
- Emily Renna, Brianna Robitaille, Hannah Janeczak and Jennifer Christian combined in the 4x100 relay for second place with a run of 46.62.
- Renna also was impressive in the 100-meter hurdles, placing third (14.03).
- Robitaille and Christian placed third and fourth respectively in the 100-meter dash.
- Alexa Pelletier grabbed fourth in the 5000-meter run (16:59.88).
- Genevieve Rybicki finished fourth in the discus throw (45.84m) and fifth in the shot put (12.99m).
