Setting the Scene

Rhode Island Results
- Janel Conley placed first in the 100-meter hurdle portion of the heptathlon with a time of 14.86. In other events in the heptathlon, she placed second in the high jump (1.64m), third in the shot put (10.23m) and third in the 200-meter dash (26.47). She currently stands in first place.
- Grace Janes placed fourth in the hammer throw (51.48).
- Michelle Savoie and Kimberly Ezeama both recorded points for Rhody in the long jump.
- Kelly McCabe finished fourth in the javelin throw (40.52) and gained five points.
Saturday's Finals
- Emily Renna qualified for tomorrow's finals in the 100-meter hurdles (14.33), she placed second overall.
- In the 400-meter dash Mariah Claudio qualified with a run of 57.12.
- Hannah Janeczak placed sixth in the 100-meter dash (12.24) to qualify.
