* Nick Fairweather sits one stroke behind Walthouse, after a first round score of 76. He is tied for 12th place.
* Makenzie Denver is tied for 21st after posting a 77 during the opening 18 holes of play.
* Joe Leavitt opened the tournament with a score of 82, putting him in a tie for 55th place.
* Seamus Fennelly is tied for 74th place (86) after the first round.
Rhode Island Team Results:
* The Rams fired a first round total score of 310, putting them in fifth place. URI is three strokes out of second place, as UMass Lowell (307), Bryant (308), and LIU Brooklyn (309) are all within striking distance. Hartford sits atop the leaderboard, with a score of 295.
