HAMDEN, Conn. — Galina Chernykh won the A singles title today at the Quinnipiac Invitational, in the opening weekend of competition for the Rams' tennis squad.  The redshirt junior downed Honami Yazawa of Drexel 6-4, 6-2, advancing to the title match against Mayu Sato of Fordham.  Chernykh emerged as the champion, with a 6-2, 6-4 straight set win.
