Rhode Island dropped a 4-3 match at Boston University on Thursday. The Terriers are the defending Patriot League champions.
The Rams earned victories at #1, 2, and 5 singles. Mihaela Codreanu earned her first victory of the season, taking the first set 7-5 before her opponent retired. Rachel Smilansky bounced back after dropping her first set to take the next two. Ariel Haber took a straight set victory, 6-4, 6-4. Rhody narrowly dropped the doubles point, with #1 and 2 doubles losing, 6-4.
