Rhody Rallies to 4-3 Win over Army West Point

How It Happened
Rhode Island took four wins in singles play to earn a home victory over Army West Point today at the Hassenfeld Tennis Complex.

Ariel Haber won the match clincher at #6 singles, in a three-set thriller - 6-3, 2-6, 6-3 - to preserve the 4-3 victory.  After falling at the #5 singles position, Mihaela Codreanu and Tiara Higuchi each won in straight sets at #1 and #4 singles, respectively to tie the match at 2-2.

Rhody again trailed, after a loss at #2 singles made it 3-2.  But Rachel Smilansky earned a two-set victory at #3 before Haber's match clincher.
