BOSTON, MASS. - Rhode Island men's cross country finished third at the New England Championship Saturday, its first podium finish since 1964. Massachusetts was crowned champion with 92 points. Northeastern finished second (107) and the Rams collected 113 team points for the bronze finish.

Highlights from the Course

• Eric Zulkofske was the top finisher for the Rams, placing sixth with a time of 24:51.
• Ben Fleischer was next up for Rhody, placing seventh in 24:54.
• Tyler Rubush finished 12th with a time of 25:14.
• Lars Hogne (25:58) and Nathan Masi (26:03) both finished in the top 50, crossing the finish at 42nd and 46th respectively.
• Tyler Sheedy (26:10) and Cole Baker (28:19) also competed for Rhody.
