  • The Rams lead the all-time series, 13-9, including a 6-3 record at home against the Billikens.
  • Saint Louis has won the last two meetings and three of the last four overall.
  • Last season, the Billikens won 67-60 in Saint Louis.

  • The Billikens lead the A-10 in points per game at 77.7, which ranks 37th in the country. Rhode Island is third in the conference and 34th nationally in scoring defense at 63.9 points per game.
  • Saint Louis guard Yuri Collins leads the country with 8.0 assists per game.

CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP SEEDING COMING INTO FOCUS

  • With two games remaining in the regular season, Rhode Island is currently in 10th place in the Atlantic 10.
  • Rhody wants to finish in the top 10 to avoid having to play in the opening round of the Atlantic 10 Championship. Teams that finish 11-14 in the final standings play the play-in round on Wednesday, March 9.
  • By winning its final two games, the Rams can clinch at least 10th place, regardless of what else happens in A-10 play.
  • The Rams hold a half-game lead over Massachusetts and a one-game lead over Saint Joseph's in the standings. WIth both UMass and Saint Joseph's, any combination of two URI wins and UMass/Saint Joseph's losses secures 10th place.
  • URI trails Fordham by 1.5 games for ninth place in the standings.
  • With two Rhode Island wins and two Fordham losses, it is possible for URI to pass Fordham in the standings based on conference winning percentage. Rhode Island would be 7-10 and Fordham 7-11.
  • In order to fall out of the top 10 seeds, Rhode Island would have to lose both of its games while Saint Joseph's wins both of its games and Massachusetts wins at least one of its final two contests.

MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS ON THE MIND

  • Rhode Island is recognizing Mental Health Awareness as part of Wednesday's game.
  • The Rams will wear green t-shirts with the phrase "You are not alone." on the back of the shirts for the warm up period.
  • Representatives from the URI student group Active Minds will be seated at tables in the Ryan Center throughout the game to discuss issues related to mental health awareness.
  • Several URI student-athletes are involved with Active Minds.
