Rhode Island turned in a third-round 291 to finish the tournament in 10th place.
Overall, the Rams were 8-over through three rounds, for a team score of 860 (287-282-291).
Troy won the team title, combining for a 24-under 828 (275-278-275).
Appalachian State (-22), Marquette (-17), LIU (-17) and UConn (-16) rounded out the top-5.

Individual Results

Junior Bryson Richards turned in Rhody's best performance, finishing in a five-way tie for third place at 8-under (68-69-68=205).
Redshirt senior Brandon Gillis tied for 43rd overall at 1-over (70-72-72=214).
Redshirt senior Jordan Brajcich carded a final-round 73 to tie for 53rd place at +5 (76-69-73=218).
Sophomore Jack Tegan finished tied for 68th (73-72-78=223)
Senior Austin Fox placed 84th with a three-round score of 231 (80-73-78).

The most obvious observation is that the three players who worked hardest this winter finished in our top three.
I am particularly proud of Bryson, who, all year, has had a goal of finishing under par. He had just one bogey over the final two rounds and finished third in a terrific field of teams and individuals.
Our primary goals in coming here were to see who we are, where we are, and what we need to work on. So that made this tournament a success because we've begun to do that.
We play again Saturday so we're hoping for a couple solid days of work and the focus to compete against a solid field in Maryland.

The Rams are back in action at the Carpetbagger Classic, March 19-20.
