After two rounds of play, Rhode Island sits in fifth place among the field of 14.
The Rams combined for a first-round score of 290, and picked up an additional stroke the second time through to finish Day 1 with a combined 581 (+5).
Seton Hall leads the field heading into Sunday's final round with a two-round score of 557 (-19).
Yale (-12), Lafayette (+1), Pennsylvania (+4) and Rhody (+5) round out the top-5.
St. Bonaventure – the only other Atlantic 10 team competing in the tournament – is in 12th place at 25-over.

Individual Results

Redshirt fifth year Brandon Gillis is tied for 13th place with an even 144. After firing a first-round 73, he opened the second round with an eagle on the par-5 12th hole, and finished the round 1-under (71).
Senior Bryson Richards is in a four-way tie for 22nd, having gone 75-70 to finish the day 1-over (145). He also eagled the 12th hole to start the second round of play.
Freshman Aidan O'Donovan's first collegiate round was the Rams best of the morning as he birdied three of his final eight holes to finish 2-under (70). He then carded a 76 the second time through to finish the day tied for 26th with a 2-over 146.
Also making his collegiate debut, sophomore Chuck Tragesser went 72-75=147 to finish the day 3-over, in a tie for 30th overall.
Junior transfer Geronimo Narizzano went 7-over (76-75=151) in his first appearance as a Ram. He will enter Sunday's final round tied for 48th place.
Senior Andrew DiPetrillo finished in a tie for 75th place with an 11-over score of 155 (77-78).
