Team Results

The Rams combined for their low score of the tournament on Sunday, firing a 287 to jump from fifth into third place.
Overall, Rhody was +4 with a three-round score of 868 (290-291-287).
Seton Hall claimed the team title at 23-under (841), followed by Yale (-11).
St. Bonaventure – the only other Atlantic 10 team competing in the tournament – finished 12th at 25-over.

Individual Results

Redshirt fifth year Brandon Gillis and senior Bryson Richards tied for 11th overall, both combining for an even 216. Gillis went 73-71-72 while Richards was 75-70-71.
Freshman Aidan O'Donovan tied for 24th in his first collegiate competition, finishing with a 3-over 219 (70-76-73).
Also making his collegiate debut this weekend, sophomore Chuck Tragesser went 72-75-75=222 to finish 6-over and tie for 35th place.
Senior Andrew DiPetrillo made the biggest jump of the day for the Rams, moving up 25 spots after carding a final-round 71. Overall, he tied for 50th with a 10-over 226 (77-78-71).
Junior transfer Geronimo Narizzano tied for 55th, going 76-75-76 to finish 11-over (227) in his first event as a Ram.

Head Coach Gregg Burke Said...

After lacking toughness the first two rounds, we dug in a bit today and played Rhody golf a bit more. That isn't to say we are happy with one under, and certainly not with finishing so far out of first, but it was a day and tournament where we can find some positives.
We said a year ago that Chuck was going to be a solid starter for us and he proved that. I was especially proud of Aidan for his opening and closing rounds. He can be very good for us.
For us to finish ahead of a number of good teams without getting great tournaments from Bryson and Brandon shows we have depth. When they turn it on, we will be very good.
