- Sine the first meeting in 2013, Rhode Island has racked up a 6-4 advantage in the teams' shared history.Â

- UAlbany has also had a three-game winning streak over URI, having taken the 2014 (37-20), 2015 (35-7) and 2016 (36-7) matchups.Â
- The last win for the Great Danes was a 35-28 result at their home field in 2019.Â
- Former running back Marques DeShields highlighted last year's meeting by becoming the first Ram to rush for over 200 yards since Lyle McCombs did so against Stony Brook in 2014.Â
- DeShields, who finished the 2022 campaign with seven 100-yard games, also scored his 12th rushing touchdown in the outing, tying the program record set by Pat Abbruzzi in 1954.Â
- Linebacker Evan Stewart stood out defensively, finishing with six total tackles, along with a forced fumble and a fumble recovery for a touchdown.Â
