Rhode Island men's track and field sent a split squad to compete at the David Hemery Valentine Invite hosted by BU and the URI Coaches Invitational Saturday. Field competitors stayed in Kingston while the running events made the trip up 95. At the Coaches Invite, the Rams won every field event on the day.

BU David Hemery Valentine Invite

• Eric Zulkofske had a school-record time of 8:04.98 in the 5000 meters.
• Jarrett Young placed 13th in the 200 meters with a time of 21.56 seconds. Liam Creeley was the next finisher up, finishing in 22.11 seconds for 48th. Jolon O'Connor finished in 22.18 seconds for 56th, and Abraham Tambah finished in 22.62 seconds for 112th. Barry Ndeh's 22.93-second finish was good for 150th.
• In the 400m, Ndeh was 82nd in 49.61 seconds.
• Aidan Kindopp finished 31st in the 1000 meters in 2:30.34.
• The 4x400m relay team finished sixth in 3:12.55. 

URI Coaches Invitational 

• Ryan Tona won the high jump with a mark of 2.08 meters. Jack Reichenbach placed second after clearing 2.05 meters.
• Reichenbach won the long jump after leaping 6.97 meters. Davon Tate placed second with a mark of 6.83 meters, and Isaiah Webster had a 6.47 meter mark for fourth place.
• Orion Joyner won the triple jump with a mark of 14.66 meters.
• In the shot put, Chris Tavarone won after throwing 16.28 meters. Nick Morse placed second with a 16.26 meter throw, and Dante Caouette finished fifth (14.21m).
• Mason Brubaker won the pole vault with a 4.80 meter mark. Neil Waldhausen finished third (4.35m), and Devin Donahue was sixth (4.05m).
• Johnathan Buchanan placed first in the weight throw, marking 19.88 meters. Alexander Baez placed second (18.89m) and Nate Field was fifth (16.36m).
