FAIRFAX, VA. — Rhode Island placed second in a close battle for the 2025 Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track & Field Championship Sunday. George Mason outlasted the Rams by just 1.5 points for the outdoor title, snapping Rhody's winning streak of the last four straight A-10 outdoor championships.

Champions
- Antonio Capalbo won his first Atlantic 10 outdoor 800m crown, crossing the finish in 1:51.99 for gold.
- Theo Puterbaugh won the shot put, sweeping both the indoor and outdoor championship crowns in the event with a mark of 17.84 meters.
- Ryan Tona won the decathlon after collecting 7080 points over the two days. For the full decathlon results, click here.
Finals
- In the 100m final, LJ Raye had a podium finish with third place in 10.52 seconds. Alex Arbogast was fourth (10.53s) and Jacob Volkerts finished eighth (10.81s).
- Arbogast won bronze in the 200m final for another Rhody podium finish. He crossed the finish line in 21.30 seconds while Steven Doss finished sixth in 21.44 seconds.
- Nick Martin finished sixth in the 5000m (14:30.20).
- The 4x800m relay team placed second in 7:31.98 for a silver medal finish.
- Cam Miller won silver in the high jump after marking 2.01 meters.
- The Rams had three finish in the top 10 of the discus, led by Alex Fitzsimmons' fourth-place throw of 47.03 meters. Chris Tavarone was sixth (46.06m) and Gabe Rodrigues finished eighth (44.08m).
- The 4x400m relay was sixth (3:13.23).
- Tavarone had a podium finish in the shot put, finishing third with a throw of 176.33 meters. Winslow Sightler finished fourth (15.42m) and CJ McDermott was sixth (14.98m).
- Joachim Ennoo finished fourth in the triple jump after leaping 15.06 meters.
- The 4x100m relay finished second in 41.07 seconds.
- Maddox Jordan finished eighth in the 1500m in 3:52.32.
From Day One
- Mason Brubaker collected his first career outdoor pole vault title after clearing 5.00 meters.
- Nick Martin had a podium finish in the 3000m steeple, finishing third in a school-record 8:55.14. Martin finished four seconds faster than the previous time which he set at Providence back on April 11 (8:59.14).
- Alexander Baez also took home hardware with a bronze medal finish in the hammer throw. His mark of 59.62 meters was third. Nate Field also picked up points for Rhody in the event, finishing fifth after throwing 51.98 meters.
- In the long jump, Ryan Tona claimed a podium finish with a mark of 7.40 meters for third place. Joachim Ennoo finished fourth (7.34m).
- Damian Scouloukas placed second in the pole vault. He cleared 4.70 meters for the silver medal finish.
- Douglas Ledger was Rhody's sixth podium finish of the day with a bronze medal in the javelin (60.46m).
- Garrett Hartline was fifth in the 10,0000m with a time of 30:52.29.
