CONWAY, S.C. - Rhode Island ran into a hot Coastal Carolina squad Tuesday, falling 7-0 to the Chanticleers.
It was the ninth straight victory for Coastal Carolina. The streak also includes a win over nationally-ranked Liberty five days earlier.

Nikki Fernando were competitive in their respective singles matches at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively. Rajan took seven games off Coastal Carolina's Megan Hopton in a 6-3, 6-4 defeat, while Fernando won eight games in a 7-5, 6-3 loss.

Priyanka Shanker battled at No. 3 doubles, falling to Jesse Hollins and Victorie De Samucewicz, 7-5.
