Rhode Island will tee off at 7:30 a.m. for Round Two on Saturday. The Rams will be grouped with Dayton and George Washington for tomorrow's action.
Head Coach Gregg Burke Said...
"This isn't a group that is 'happy' we're in fourth place. We really let some shots get away from us and had a weak finish in a couple cases, but we are ready for the next two rounds.
"Brandon was outstanding tee to green. Geronimo continues to impress and is becoming the player we knew he could be. If you look at the last three tournaments, he clearly is our Number Three.
"Andrew and Aidan both had the chance to go low, but things didn't work out for them late in the round.
"I think Bryson raised his own expectations so much that it was going to be hard to live up to them but of anyone can do that it is him. He is one of the top two or three players in the league and I am sure he will prove that over the next couple rounds."
