KINGSTON, R.I. - Coming off its best season in more than two decades, the Rhode Island softball team will play eight games over five dates during the fall semester.

Rhody, which won 23 games in 2023, will open the fall schedule with games against Holy Cross and Assumption on Sunday, Sept. 17. The games will be played in Worcester, Mass.

The Rams return to the URI Softball Complex for its lone home date on Saturday, Sept. 23 when they host Southern Connecticut and Providence. The first game of the tripleheader will begin at 11 a.m.

It is the start of a busy weekend, as URI travels to Boston University for a scheduled 10-inning game the following day at noon.

On Sunday, Oct. 1, Rhode Island heads to Stonehill for games against the Skyhawks and Southern New Hampshire. The fall season wraps up with a 10-inning game at Connecticut on Friday, Oct. 6.
