RHODE ISLAND VS. GEORGE MASON - SERIES NOTES

- George Mason is coming in off a 69-60 win over St. Bonaventure, which snapped a three-game losing streak.Â

- URI is shooting .468 from the field this season, up 74 percentage points from .394 in 2022-23.
- Rhody is shooting .356 from the 3-point arc, up from .304 last year.
- The Rams have also improved in rebounds per game (38.3 from 37.0), assists per game (13.3 from 11.2) and turnovers per game (13.2 from 14.1).
- The biggest area URI has fallen off from last season is free throw percentage. The Rams are shooting .626 at the line, compared to .744 last season.
FOUMENA MAKING THE MOST OF HIS MINUTES
- Redshirt freshman center Jeremy Foumena has been a bright spot despite the team struggles in recent games.
- Last time out against Fordham, Foumena had a team-high 13 points with five rebounds and two blocked shots in 24 minutes off the bench.
- Since the start of Atlantic 10 play, Foumena is shooting .727 from the field (16-of-22).
- Foumena has appeared in every game as a reserve, averaging 6.2 points and 4.2 rebounds in 14.1 minutes per game.
