KINGSTON, R.I. - Rhode Island Women's Track & Field finished eighth out of 13 teams at the UMass Flagship Opener on Sunday afternoon.
The Rams scored 27 points in the team standings. Massachusetts (112 points) took first, followed by Brown (93 points) and Holy Cross (68 points).Â
Virsavia Goretoy led URI with a top finish in the 100m Hurdles. She crossed the line in 14 seconds flat to lead the field. Teammates
Kayla Clark (ninth, 14.66) and
Jacqueline Edoro (10th, 15.08) also joined her in the top 10.Â
