KINGSTON, R.I. – For the third time in his illustrious career, Rhode Island's
Bryson Richards has been named to the Division I PING Northeast All-Region Team.
Richards – who finished his career with a program-record six individual tournament titles – was one of 25 players named to the all-region squad. Also a three-time All-Atlantic 10 honoree, Richards is the first four-time Golf Scholar All-American in Rhode Island history, an eight-time Atlantic 10 Golfer of the Week, a two-time Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week and a two-time Rhode Island Statehouse Scholar-Athlete.
"This is yet another indication of what a great player Bryson is," Rhode Island head coach
Gregg Burke said. "For him to earn this distinction three times, get as many All-League nods, and about to be named an All-American Scholar for the fourth time is just incredible."
Richards was also named to the 2022 and 2023 Division I PING All-Northeast teams.
