  • A 16-yard Jarrett Martin pick-six with 8:37 left in the fourth quarter was the difference maker leading to a 17-10 Rhode Island victory.

WHITE KICKS HIS WAY INTO THE RECORD BOOKS

  • Rhode Island kicker Garth White has put together a historic run over the last two game for the Rams.
  • In wins at UAlbany and against Bryant, White was 12-of-13 on extra point attempts and 2-of-2 on field goal attempts.
  • White's two field goals come from 48 and 54 yards out. His 48-yarder at UAlbany is tied for fifth longest in Rhode Island history. The 54-yarder he drilled against Bryant is the longest made field goal in program history.
  • The record-breaker on Oct. 25 at Meade Stadium is the Rams longest since Colin Gallagher's then record long make versus Fordham on Sept. 3, 2005.
  • White was 7-of-8 on extra point attempts against UAlbany. His eight attempts are tied for second most in a game in team history. Seven makes is tied for fourth most in Rams history.

WINOWICH LEADS RAMS TO WIN VS. BRYANT

  • Running back Gabe Winowich had a career day in his first career start against Bryant on Oct. 25.
  • Winowich had career highs in attempts (13), rushing yards (90), and touchdowns (2).
  • Both of his touchdown runs came in the first quarter against the Bulldogs.
  • His first touchdown was a 51-yard rush, the longest attempt of his career.
  • It was the first Rhode Island run of over 50 yards since Malik Grant's 75-yard rush against Central Connecticut in the first round of the FCS Playoffs last year on Nov. 30.
  • Winowich added a 6-yard score late in the first quarter against Bryant for his second TD of the afternoon.
  • The Bloomfield Hills, Michigan native originally began his career at Rutgers. He did not see any action last season in his lone year with the Scarlet Knights.

RHODE ISLAND HAS DEPTH IN RUNNING GAME

  • Gabe Winowich's emergence against Bryant came after starting running back Antwain Littleton, Jr. was sidelined with an arm injury he experienced against UAlbany.
  • Littleton, Jr., Brendon Barrow, Terrence Campbell, Winowich, and quarterback Devin Farrell make up a solid rushing attack for Rhode Island.
  • Littleton, Jr., Barrow, and Winowich all have had games this season where they have rushed for two rushing touchdowns.
  • Against Campbell on Aug. 29, Littleton, Jr. rushed for 85 yards and two scores.
  • On Oct. 11 against New Hampshire, Barrow had a career-high 111 yards and two touchdowns.
  • Winowich is coming off his two-touchdown performance against Bryant.
  • Farrell has added two rushing touchdowns this season; one against Long Island on Sept. 20 and another against New Hampshire.
  • Campbell, who is a true freshman, had 39 yards and a score in Rhode Island's win at UAlbany.
