KINGSTON, R.I. -- Rhode Island men's track and field had a busy opening weekend of the indoor season, first hosting the URI Heptathlon and the Rhody Opener at Mackal Field House before competing at the BU Sharon Colyer-Danville Season Opener Saturday.

URI Heptathlon - Results

• The Rams had the top three finishers for the Heptathlon, led by Ryan Tona who placed first with 5662 points. Tona finished fourth in the 60m (7.19s), first in the long jump (7.39m), second in the shot put (13.11m), first in the high jump (2.03m), first in the 60m hurdles (8.26s), first in the pole vault (4.70m), and third in the 1000m (2:56.68). 
• Wyatt Lamell secured second place with 5183 points behind a first place finish in the 60m (7.08s), second in the long jump (7.12m), second in the high jump (1.91m), sixth in the shot put (12.19m), and a runner-up finish in the 1000m (2:56.66), third in the 60m hurdles (8.62s) and fifth in the pole vault (4.00m). 
• Damian Scouloukas rounded out the Rhody sweep in third with 4981, earning top-three finishes in the long jump (7.06m), high jump (1.91m) and a share of the win in the pole vault (4.70m). He was eighth in the 60m  (7.34s), 10th in the shot put (10.74m),

The Rhody Opener - Results

• Izzy Henriques-Setho was third in the long jump with a mark of 7.10 meters. Nate Shultz placed fifth (6.93m), and Rece Englehart finished eighth (6.65m).
• Arnaud Sioho was second in the triple jump with a mark of 15.05 meters.
• Theo Puterbaugh placed second in the shot put with a throw of 16.90 meters while Winslow Sightler was third with a mark of 15.77 meters.
• Nate Field finished fourth in the weight throw with a mark of 16.46 meters and Sam Meleshenko placed fifth, throwing 15.76 meters.
• In the high jump, Josia Katroli was second with a clearance of 2.10 meters and Shultz placed eighth, clearing 1.90 meters.
• Tyler Grabinski finished fifth in the pole vault with a jump of 4.30 meters.
• Lucas Andrade won the 60-meter hurdles in 8.12 seconds. Ryan Kyle was fourth, finishing with a time of 8.35 seconds.
• Alex Arbogast won the 60-meter dash in 6.79 seconds.
• Maddox Jordan won the mile in 4:07.42. Antonio Capalbo placed fifth with a time of 4:22.59.
• Jacob Volkerts finished fourth in the 300 meters with a time of 37.29.
• Elias Sposato won the 600 meters in 1:21.74. Nick Morrison was ninth (1:26.70).

BU Sharon Colyer-Danville Season Opener - Results

• Nick Martin was the lone Ram to compete at the BU Season Opener. He finished 118th with a time of 14:09.99 in the 5,000m.
