PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Rhode Island men's track and field had its final tune up before heading to the Atlantic 10 Indoor Championship next week. The Rams had a handful of competitors up in Providence Saturday for the Brown Invitational, collecting 71 team points for a fourth-place finish.

Highlights from Competition
- Nate Shultz placed second in the long jump with a leap of 6.85 meters (22' 5.75").
- Alexander Baez was second in the weight throw (18.95m/62' 2.25") and Nate Field was fourth (16.35m/53' 7.75").
- CJ McDermott placed third in the shot put with a 14.68-meter throw (48' 2").
- Damian Scouloukas was fourth in the high jump after clearing 1.82 meters (5' 11.50").
- Scouloukas also competed in the pole vault, finishing second with a 4.60-meter mark (15' 1").
