KINGSTON, R.I. - The Rhode Island men's track & field team won five different events at the URI Coaches Invitational at Mackal Fieldhouse on Saturday afternoon.
In the Rams' final home meet of the indoor season, the team held a senior day ceremony in recognition of Martine Macdonald, Matt Santy, Chris Tavarone, Nathan Masi, LJ Raye, CJ Kiviat, Liam Creeley, John Santos, Jarrett Young, Mason Brubaker, and Owen Fleischer.

Highlights from Competition
- Rhode Island took the 1-2-3 in the 500 meters. Jarrett Young (1:04.64) was the first to cross the finish, followed by CJ Kiviat (1:05.34) and Cam Rose (1:05.64).
- Alex Arbogast won the 60m in 6.84 seconds.
- Matt Santy won the high jump after clearing 2.03 meters (6' 8"). Rowan McConkey placed third (1.98m/ 6' 6").
- Santy placed second in the long jump with a 7.16 meter-mark (23' 6").
- Mason Brubaker won the pole vault (4.80m/ 15' 9").
- Theo Puterbaugh claimed first in the shot put with a throw of 16.18 meters (53' 1").
- Adam Melnick finished fourth in the 800m (1:56.66).
- Elijah Saddlemire placed second in the 1000m (2:34.86).
- Nate Field was the top finisher in the weight throw, placing eighth (15.58m/ 51'1").
- Wyatt Lamell finished seventh in the 60m hurdles (8.53s).
