KINGSTON, R.I. - The Rhode Island women's track & field team won four different events at the URI Coaches Invitational at Mackal Fieldhouse on Saturday afternoon.
In the Rams' final home meet of the indoor season, the team captured two field events and a pair of running events.
Megan Wood was the top finisher in both the shotput (46' 2") and the weight throw (55' 10"), while
Abigail Colella crossed the line first in the 500m (59.40).
To close out the day, the quartet of
Joyce London,
Sydney Haik,
Lily MacDonald and
Amyah Santana had a resounding win in the 4x400m Relay. With a time of 4:04.18, Rhody bested second-place Stonehill by seven seconds.

- Prior to the start of the meet, the Rams held a senior day ceremony in recognition of Sophia DiMuccio, Sydney Federico, Erin Hurley, Elise LePage, Carollin Mellin, Sarah Parr, Sofia Piccone, Amyah Santana, Madeline Till, Lindsay Turgeon, Corina Vidal, Katie Welsh and Megan Wood.
- Alyssa Yankee finished second in the shotput with a mark of 43' 1/2", which she recorded on her sixth and final attempt.
- Sydney Haik finished just behind Colella in the 400m, with a time of 1:00.53. Joanna Ball finished ninth in 1:03.31.
- Sophia DiMuccio ran the Mile in 5:17.54, crossing the line second.
- Olivia Skapczynski came in third in the 1000m with a time of 3:02.78. She held off the fourth-place runner by nearly five full seconds.
- Allison Vigue cleared 11' 4 1/4" in the pole vault for fourth place. She was joined by Olivia Priest (seventh, 11' 4 1/4") and Charlotte Moscovici (ninth, 11' 4 1/4") in the top 10.
- Lily MacDonald tied for fourth in the high jump, clearing 5' 1/4". She shared placement with Holy Cross' Keira O'Connor. Josie Allred also finished in the top 10, coming in ninth (5' 3/4").
- Amyah Santana ran a 1:21.18 in the 500m, good for fifth place.
- Kiley Mironenko was fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 35' 2".
- Kayla Clark and Lily MacDonald placed fifth and sixth in the 60m Hurdles, crossing in 9.07 seconds and 9.11 seconds respectively.
- Lily MacDonald placed seventh in the long jump with a 17' 5.5" leap. Alyvia Caruso (16' 10 3/4") was 10th.
- Madison Boucher came in seventh in the weight throw (47' 11").
- Hailey LaRosa ran the 3000m in 10:44.46, good for eighth place overall.
